Happy new year to all! I’m pleased to report that I now have the compact flash board up and working – another step towards a full system! It’s great to have working local storage and I’m enjoying the simplicity of the Block system in Tali Forth.
For North American users, I strongly recommend this 3M CF socket, which was easy to solder in and seems very sturdy. I had previously tried with another one and had no success. The mounting tabs on this one match up properly to the tabs on the PCB, which should make it even stronger.
